Caribbean Park office development outside Melb CBD will receive a 170-room Hyatt Place
170-room Hyatt Place for Caribbean Park, Melbourne
Scheduled to open in 2021
Third Hyatt Place for Melbourne
The Spooner family's Caribbean Park office development has extended into hotels with a 170-room Hyatt Place.
The Spooner family will develop, fund, construct and retain ownership of the $75 million hotel, which Hyatt will operate under a management agreement.
Caribbean Park's tenants will include Toyota, Parmalat, Miele and Wesfarmers. They are expected to drive demand for hotel rooms with visiting executives having the option of staying onsite rather than in a hotel in the city, 27 kilometres away.
It will be the third Hyatt Place to open in Melbourne, joining a 160-room hotel that opened at Essendon Fields in 2017 and a 200-room hotel due to open in Springvale in 2020, part of a growing pipeline of new Australian hotels to be operated by the Chicago-based group.
