IHG has announced the Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park, which will be a flagship for Holiday Inn in New Zealand. The 182 key hotel is scheduled to open in 2021 and will be delivered in conjunction with QLong Investments Limited.
The property is located within a few minutes’ drive from Queenstown Airport and close to The Remarkables Ski Field, positioned and easily accessible to visitors, families and holidaying groups.

IHG has put a focus on regional growth in Australia and New Zealand, with several recent Holiday Inn signings across Australia, including in Wagga Wagga, Melbourne Dandenong, Geelong, Melbourne Ringwood, Melbourne Coburg and Melbourne Werribee, which are all new build properties that will set a benchmark for the brand in the region.
IHG currently has 47 hotels operating under four brands in Australasia, including: InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, voco and Holiday Inn Express, with another 29 in the pipeline, including Hotel Indigo and EVEN Hotels.
