The Oakwood Premier Melbourne hotel will take out part of a 40-storey tower developed by Michael and Omran Dib’s Blue Earth Group.
The tower, at 202 Normanby Road, Southbank, also includes 238 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments. Construction kicked off in August last year.
Proposed facilities within Oakwood Premier Melbourne include an all-day dining restaurant, a Sky Bar, meeting venues, a lobby bar an fitness center, as well as upscale retail spaces.
The Oakwood Premier Melbourne will be the third hotel to be operated by the Singaporean Group in Australia, alongside the new Dandenong hotel due to open in 2021 and its existing Oakwood Apartments Brisbane, which features 162-rooms adjacent to the Storey Bridge.
